5. Live Greener and more organically.
However, it feels wrong not to stay up and bang a pot. Funny how beating up an old pan somehow qualifies as "doing something" to bring in the new year. Hmmmm, better go get my kettle ready.
Ben
Ben is doing great. He is a super father, husband, and friend. Thanks to his most important employer; Officeconnect.net, he was hired on by a partner company and has recently been promoted. I sure am proud of him. I asked him to write a little update for himself and he sent me this: I don't care to have people know about me.
is the word to describe how fast Amy has turned 6 months.
Kids and family are the best thing about life. I was so satisfied with Lucas that I thought one kid might be enough. Then this little princess came a long and it just got even better. It makes me wonder if it feels like this every time you add a child to your family or if it just tapers off around 4 or 5.
We love our Amy Dawn! Happy 6 months!
Now the last choices are very important and I want your opinion. Which countertop do you like best?
I am currently stripping and sanding my cupboards. I plan on staining them. What color stain do you like best? Cherry, Dark, Medium, or light?
Lucas won't pose for me anymore so I have to trick him into looking at the camera. I'll take what I can get. He's really just into Spongebob and water lately. Here he is helping dad get the pool ready for summer. The swimsuit was given to him by Gma & Gpa Ireland straight from Australia.
I was called in to the Women's Clinic on February 24, 2009 at 7:00 for an induction. My doctor recommended we go a week early rather then risk me getting sick again. I still do not know what it is like to go into labor. It is weird to know exactly when you are going to have a baby. I'm pretty good at this whole labor thing because Lucas was only seven hours and I had Amy by 11:52 a.m. The actual time from my water breaking was an hour and a half. I got to a 4 pretty quickly so after the epidural I took a little nap. The nurse came in little bit later and I was an 8. She told me to roll over and that did it. I was a 10. They called my Doctor, I pushed a few times, and there she was. Seven pounds fourteen ounces, 21 inches.
Up to date pictures! There you go Dad! He asks for them every time I call home. There they are, taken this morning. I hope they hold you over until I can bring her home and you can hold her yourself.
We sure do love her. Families are cool.
